Arrived into Budapest this evening and met up with Graham who I met in
Tunisia a few weka ago and had kindly sorted us out a very nice hotel
with a garage so the bikes will have a little rest as we stay here for
two nights with graham as a guide (thats beer and tourist) he has
arranged for us to go to an Indian resturant on Thursday night and we
are all looking forward to that.
Romania sadly was a little bit of a washout and I think we should have
allowed more time to travel through it because it seems as if we just
never had the time to stop and smell the roses.
The weather on Monday did not help but we did manage to see enough to
know that a another trip with extra days is well worth organising.
My advice for Romania would be to slow down because of the speed
traps. Get off the truck routes when possible and stop a few times to
see the villages and note the difference between the north and the
south.
For the last few days I have seen on so many occasions for the very
first time Storks nesting on top of telegraph poles and electrical
pylons and sadly I never got around to getting a picture.
I thing
