The old GLC

Building used to be a roundabout but the new plans will change that.

It seems as if the front of the hotel will become pedestrianised area.

The view is an unusual one and I am sorry for the steel work in the
pictures but the very edge of the building was not very inviting.

London.

The roof is floor sixteen. The hotel will be the biggest in london
with over 1000 rooms.

Working in London.

These pictures have been taken from the roof of the new hotel that has
been built ok the site of the old GLC building in London.

It's Gareth's favourite town.

The home of the Melton Mobray pork pie. Trouble is the shoppe is shut
so no pies for me today and I shall be away too early for one in the
morning :-(

Perhaps next time.

At least I have been here but keep it to yourself but Gareth never
has.....LOL.

Just spent two days in the city with this landmark

But it must be the worst place in the UK to take pictures as I never
saw anything else worth taking a picture of

And for those that do not know it's location is Birmingham.

Would you believe it

Now in a bar in Rhyl and the beer is £1.59 for the Pedigree a d it's
only £1.29 for the Ruddles no wonder most of the pubs up and down the
street are boarded up having to compete with that.

And yes you guessed right it's a Weatherspoon pub. It's called The
Sussex.

Had a pork pie and a mug of tea with the hound

At the Kennel today.

He shares his back garden with a lot of sheep.

This the view from the lounge window from his cottage in north Wales.

It was good to see the Hound again and I look forward to seeing him
and all the other BritSToc members in just two months time.
