The Xmas lights in St Georges Square Glasgow

I have just had a very nice Italian meal with good company.

The good company was DaveW who drove over from Edinburgh for a chin
wag. Thanks Dave.

FlyBe

The very vice man took me to Glasgow safely and fir a very nice price
considering I only booked it two hours before I left.

Off to Glasgow.

I better pack an extra jumper as I bet it's cold up there.

Perhaps a better picture.

At Dartmouth.

We did about 120 miles around the south coast of Devon and then back
over Dartmoor to home.

The weather was brilliant for the time of year although a little
chilly when the sun went down.

Jamie from the USA who rode pillion behind me seemed to enjoy himself.

We have found a Keeeef

At captain Jaspers on the Barbican in Plymouth

Time for a Guiness

In a great looking pub opposite the opera house that's full of little
snugs and stain glass windows and panels. It's called the Crown
Liquior Room and of course it's in Belfast.

Ps
The Guiness is better than next door but 5p more expensive at £3.10 a
pint.

I could spend all night here if I never had to get up at 0600 tommorow.

It also has a viewing platform

Which is higher than the tree

I would like to go back up in daylight as I an sure it has an
impressive view over the city. At night because of all the lights you
can only guess what is beyond the reflections in the glass.

It's got a big tree as well

Which looks ok.

Another wheel

Looks like everywhere has to have a big wheel

Carthage. Tunisia.

I went on a tour in a Taxi today before I fly home.

One if the places he took me too is this American ww2 cemetery which
was sadly very full.

I did pick up a leaflet while I was there but sadly I have misplaced
it so I will look up some details when I return.

Sidi Bou Said. Tunisia.

I always said I would come back to the most famous tea cafe's in
Tunisia.

Was it really 33 years when as a 15 year old I landed in Tunisia on
the SS Uganda on a school cruise around the Med.

I am glad I made the effort to make it on this trip to Tunisia.

Sfax

You really need to see the way they drive here and when you have you
will never complain about other peoples driving ever again.

If you are not going far down the road then why do you have to cross
the road why not drive on the wrong side even if you are a lorry.

Nobody gives way. Ever. Every car has debts in it. Even on the roof!!

Back in Tunisia.

What a rubbish picture of the back end of a train.

But it's the best I can do.

Straight off the plane then met and taken down to the station given a
ticket and put on a train for a three hour journey down to Sfax.

I left home at 0400hrs and it's now 1615hrs I should be in my hotel by
2000hrs. That's a long day travelling almost as long as going to
Singapore.

Time to come home

There are not many streets in Singapore named after British places but
this street in front of my hotel for the last nearly three weeks never
fails to remind me of home.
